AI agents per phone

An agent looks after a phone: it works through a queue of tasks with the same tools and checks as everyone else. Agents are part of the Pro and Team plans and use a model you add under Settings → Models (AI with your own model).

What an agent has

On the Agents page, an agent's profile sets:

  • its instructions, and the model it uses;
  • the apps it may use and the tools it may call, and what it must ask a person before doing;
  • its working hours and its limits, including a budget that stops it, even in the middle of a task;
  • how it knows a task succeeded, and when it hands over to a person.

Each agent has a memory it can search, which never keeps a secret. Its state shows on the phone's tile on the Fleet page.

Tasks

Give an agent tasks, each with a priority, and it works through its queue. You can also give a goal to many phones at once, a group or every eligible phone, from a dialog or a sentence in the command palette (Ctrl+K).

Every step goes into the task's transcript, which you can read afterwards.

Boundaries

An agent stays in the apps you allow, asks a person before payments and account-security changes, never types into password fields, and stops at CAPTCHAs, sign-in checks and other human-only steps. Approval rules apply to agents always: an AI agent is never exempt.
