Watching and controlling phones
The Fleet page
Every phone is a tile with its screen, its name and a coloured dot (green: fine; red: needs you). Hover a tile or turn on Show details for battery, temperature, connection, the app in front and the current job. Use the search, filters, groups and saved views to find phones; Wallboard shows the fleet full screen on another display.
Taking control
Click a phone to open it, then Take control. While you are in control:
- the banner says You are in control,
- the phone is in Manual mode and automation leaves it alone,
- your mouse, keyboard and clipboard work on the phone.
Release control returns the phone to its previous mode. Someone else's control can be taken over only after a confirmation.
Files, apps, logs and terminal
The phone's tabs give you its files (drag and drop to copy), apps (install an APK, open, stop, uninstall), logcat and a terminal with a restricted set of commands. Screenshots and screen recordings go to the Library.
Phones that are not active on your plan
On a plan with a phone limit, phones beyond it stay in your fleet with their names and health, but show no picture and take no actions. Choose which phones are active in Settings → Plan & account → Choose active phones.
