Cloud Android phones for people and AI agents
In short: BenchFleet cloud phones are Android phones you rent by the minute, at £0.02 a minute from prepaid minutes. Each is a fresh Android 14 phone, yours alone while it runs and deleted when it stops. It joins your fleet next to your USB phones, so people, workflows and AI agents such as Claude Code and Codex use it the same way.
Checked on 20 October 2026, the day cloud phones launched. We make BenchFleet. You do not need a phone on your desk to use BenchFleet. Rent one for a task, or a few more for an hour, and use it like the phones you own.
Free for up to 3 phones, with no account. Pro adds workflows, schedules and AI for up to 25 phones from £12 a month + VAT.
Why rent a phone when you have your own?
- No phone to hand. Try BenchFleet, or let an agent start work, without plugging anything in.
- A few more for an hour. Run a workflow on extra phones for a release check, then stop them.
- A clean phone every time. Each rental starts fresh and keeps nothing afterwards, which suits test runs and agent tasks that should not leave anything behind.
How it works
- Sign in on the website and open your account, then Cloud phones, or in the app choose Add phone → Cloud phone. The app needs API mode in Settings and your account signed in.
- Choose the longest time it may run. The phone starts in about a minute.
- Control it or watch only in the browser, where nothing needs installing. In the app it joins your fleet next to your USB phones, and you can run a workflow on it or give it to an AI client. One person or workflow controls a phone at a time.
- Stop it when you are done. You pay only for the minutes it ran.
The full steps are in Cloud phones.
The same rules for agents on cloud phones
A cloud phone goes through the same checks as your own phones:
- AI clients see only the phones and tools you allowed.
- Saved passwords, payments, account-security changes and work on more than ten phones wait for a person.
- At CAPTCHAs and other human-only checks, BenchFleet hands the phone to a person.
- Every call is recorded in the hash-chained audit log.
See Android MCP server for the tools an agent gets, and give an AI agent a cloud Android phone for the options compared.
What it costs
- £0.02 a minute, paid from prepaid minutes: £10 for 500 minutes, £25 for 1,250 minutes and £100 for 5,000 minutes, each usable for 12 months. Prices exclude VAT. A new account starts with no minutes: buy a pack to start a phone.
- Pro and Team include 300 minutes a month (Team: for each seat), used first. Pro is £12 a month + VAT for up to 25 phones; Team is £20 per seat a month + VAT.
- A spending limit stops your phones when the month's spending reaches it, with an email at 50, 80 and 100 per cent.
- Your account shows what is left, when it expires, and what each day and each phone used.
- Your own phones stay on a flat plan price however long they run; cloud phones are billed by the minute.
Good to know
Cloud phones run Android without Google Play and use datacentre internet addresses, so apps that need Google Play or Play Integrity, such as many banking apps, are best tested on your own phones. Each phone starts fresh and is deleted with everything on it when it stops.

Questions
What is a BenchFleet cloud phone?
An Android phone that runs on BenchFleet's servers, rented by the minute. Each rental starts as a fresh Android 14 phone in its own virtual machine, is yours alone while it runs, and is deleted with everything on it when it stops.
How much do cloud phones cost?
£0.02 a minute, paid from prepaid minutes: £10 for 500 minutes, £25 for 1,250 minutes and £100 for 5,000 minutes, each usable for 12 months. Prices exclude VAT. Pro and Team include 300 minutes a month, and Team includes them for each seat. Included minutes are used first.
Can my AI agent use a cloud phone?
Yes. In the app a cloud phone is part of your fleet, so MCP clients such as Claude Code and Codex use it under the same rules as your own phones, with only the phones you allowed, approvals for sensitive steps and every call in the audit log. AI clients are part of Pro and Team.
Can I stop a phone from running up a bill?
Yes. You set a spending limit, and phones stop when the month's spending reaches it. You get emails at 50, 80 and 100 per cent of the limit, and you choose the longest time a phone may run when you start it.
What happens to my data when the phone stops?
The phone is deleted with everything on it, and nothing is kept for the next rental. BenchFleet keeps records of each rental and of the phone's internet connections, showing where to and how much but not what, and keeps no copy of the screen or your typing. Privacy notice
Do cloud phones have Google Play?
No. Cloud phones run Android without Google Play and use datacentre internet addresses, so apps that need Google Play or Play Integrity are best tested on your own phones with BenchFleet.
