Cloud phones

Android phones in the cloud, ready in about a minute

Rent a fresh, private Android phone by the minute. Use it in your browser, give it to an AI agent over MCP, or add it to your fleet in the BenchFleet app. Stop it and it is gone.

£0.02 a minute from prepaid minutes. Pro and Team include 300 minutes a month. Read the guide

What you get

A real phone to use, and to hand to an agent

In your browser or in the app

Control it or just watch it in the browser, with nothing to install. In the app it joins your fleet next to the phones on your desk, so workflows, schedules and the API use it the same way.

A fresh phone, yours alone

Every rental is a clean Android 14 phone in its own virtual machine. It is yours alone while it runs and deleted, with everything on it, when it stops.

AI agents over MCP

Claude Code, Codex or any MCP client can use a cloud phone under the rules you set for your own phones: only the phones you allow, approvals for sensitive steps and every call in the audit log.

A spending limit you set

Phones stop when the month’s spending reaches your limit, with emails at 50, 80 and 100 per cent. You also choose the longest time each phone may run.

In the app

One fleet, whether the phone is on your desk or in the cloud

In the BenchFleet app a cloud phone is a tile on the Fleet page, next to your USB phones. You see it live, take it over in one click and run workflows on it, on a schedule or on every phone at once.

AI agents

Give an agent a phone without giving it everything

You choose which phones an AI client may use and whether it may only look or also operate. Saved passwords, payments and account-security changes wait for a person, and each call is recorded in the audit log. AI clients are part of Pro and Team.

How it works

Three steps from nothing to a phone

  1. Choose a phone

Sign in, open Cloud phones and press Start a phone. Choose the longest time it may run. With no minutes yet, the same step offers a pack of prepaid minutes.

  2. Use it in about a minute

Control it or watch only in your browser, or open it from the app’s Fleet and give it to a workflow or an AI client. One person or workflow controls a phone at a time.

  3. Stop it when you are done

You pay only for the minutes it ran. The phone is deleted with everything on it, and nothing is kept for the next rental.

Good to know

What a cloud phone is not

Cloud phones suit most tests and agent tasks. They are not the right place for a few things, and we would rather say so now.

No Google Play

Cloud phones run Android without Google’s apps and are not certified Android devices. Apps that need Google Play or pass Play Integrity, such as many banking apps, will not work on them.

Datacentre internet addresses

A cloud phone connects from a datacentre, so some apps and websites refuse it or treat it differently. Test those on your own phones with BenchFleet.

People handle human-only checks

At a CAPTCHA, a sign-in check or another step meant for people, BenchFleet hands the phone to a person, on cloud phones as on your own.

What people use it for

Four good reasons to rent a phone

Give an AI agent a phone

Start an agent on a task without plugging anything in, and keep it inside your rules.

Give an AI agent a cloud phone

Test on a clean phone

Install a build, run the test and throw the phone away, so no run leaves anything behind for the next.

Android app testing

A few more phones for an hour

Run a workflow on extra phones for a release check, then stop them and stop paying.

Control many phones

No phone on your desk

Use BenchFleet from any computer with a browser, before or without buying and connecting a phone.

Questions

Before you start a phone

What is a BenchFleet cloud phone?

An Android phone that runs on BenchFleet's servers, rented by the minute. Each rental starts as a fresh Android 14 phone in its own virtual machine, is yours alone while it runs, and is deleted with everything on it when it stops.

How much do cloud phones cost?

£0.02 a minute, paid from prepaid minutes: £10 for 500 minutes, £25 for 1,250 minutes and £100 for 5,000 minutes, each usable for 12 months. Prices exclude VAT. Pro and Team include 300 minutes a month, and Team includes them for each seat. Included minutes are used first.

Do I need the app, or can I use a cloud phone in my browser?

You can use it in your browser with nothing to install, and control it or just watch it. In the app it joins your fleet next to your USB phones, so workflows, schedules and the API use it the same way.

Can my AI agent use a cloud phone?

Yes. In the app a cloud phone is part of your fleet, so MCP clients such as Claude Code and Codex use it under the same rules as your own phones, with only the phones you allowed, approvals for sensitive steps and every call in the audit log. AI clients are part of Pro and Team. Android MCP server

Can I stop a phone from running up a bill?

Yes. You set a spending limit, and phones stop when the month's spending reaches it. You get emails at 50, 80 and 100 per cent of the limit, and you choose the longest time a phone may run when you start it.

What happens to my data when the phone stops?

The phone is deleted with everything on it, and nothing is kept for the next rental. BenchFleet keeps records of each rental and of the phone's internet connections, showing where to and how much but not what, and keeps no copy of the screen or your typing. Privacy notice

Do cloud phones have Google Play?

No. Cloud phones run Android without Google Play and use datacentre internet addresses, so apps that need Google Play or Play Integrity are best tested on your own phones with BenchFleet.

Where can I read the billing terms?

The terms say how minutes, packs and billing work for cloud phones. Terms
