Connecting phones
The Hub talks to phones through Android's debugging bridge. Turn on Developer options on each phone first (Settings → About phone → tap Build number seven times).
With a cable (USB debugging)
- On the phone: Developer options → USB debugging on.
- Plug the phone in and unlock it.
- On the phone, tap Allow on Allow USB debugging? (tick Always allow from this computer).
The phone appears on the Fleet page within seconds.
Over Wi-Fi (Wireless debugging, Android 11+)
- In the app: Fleet → Add phone → Pair over Wi-Fi.
- On the phone: Developer options → Wireless debugging → Pair device with QR code, and scan the code the app shows — or use Pair with pairing code and type the code into the app.
By address
If a phone already listens on the network (for example after adb tcpip), use Add phone → By address and enter its IP address and port.
Allow automation
Watching and controlling a phone yourself works straight away. For workflows and AI, allow automation on the phone once: open the phone → Details → Automation. The Hub installs a small helper on the phone for reading screens.
Many phones
There is no limit on how many phones the Hub manages; your plan sets how many are shown and controlled at a time. With many phones, use a powered USB hub or Wi-Fi, and keep phones charged. Team plans can connect phones attached to other computers through gateways.
