BenchFleet and Mobilerun: AI agents on Android phones
In short: Mobilerun is an open-source agent framework with a hosted cloud of Android phones and iPhones. BenchFleet is a desktop app that runs your own Android phones on your computer, so Claude Code, Codex and other MCP clients use them with scope limits, approvals and a hash-chained audit log, for a flat plan price. Cloud phones are rented by the minute.
Checked on 20 October 2026. We make BenchFleet. Mobilerun's facts come from its own pricing page and docs, linked at the end. Both tools give AI agents a way to use Android phones. The difference is whose phones they are and who stays in charge while the agent works.
Free for up to 3 phones, with no account. Pro adds workflows, schedules and AI for up to 25 phones from £12 a month + VAT.

What each charges, in the same terms
- BenchFleet Pro: £12 a month + VAT covers up to 25 of your own phones, however long they run.
- Mobilerun Developer: $20 a month covers 5 concurrent cloud phones and 600 device minutes, then $0.03 a minute.
- Your own phone on Mobilerun: $5 a month, or $4 billed yearly.
On BenchFleet, AI usage is paid to your own model provider.
Where Mobilerun fits
- Agents on cloud phones today, including real iPhones, without owning a device.
- An open-source framework (MIT-licensed) to build agents on.
- A free tier that runs an agent on one cloud phone for an hour.
What BenchFleet adds
- Your phones, your hardware. Apps, accounts and test data stay on phones you own, with real SIM cards and your own networks.
- A person in the loop. Approvals hold saved passwords, payments, account-security changes and wide work until a person says yes, and CAPTCHAs and sign-in checks are handed to a person.
- A record. Every MCP call is logged with the client, phone, tool, result and approval, in a hash-chained log.
- Testers and agents on the same phones. Testers take control with mouse and keyboard; agents wait.
- One flat price for your own phones instead of device time, with workflows, schedules and replay on Pro.
Mobilerun's pricing page also lists add-ons such as dedicated residential IPs and receive-only phone numbers. BenchFleet has no such add-ons: it is built for app teams, developers and AI agent builders working with their own apps and accounts, and the agent stays in the apps you allow.

Questions
Is BenchFleet an alternative to Mobilerun?
For agents that use Android phones, yes. Mobilerun runs agents on its own cloud phones or on a phone you connect to its cloud. BenchFleet runs agents on phones you own, from your computer, with approvals and an audit log, and adds rented cloud phones soon.
How do the prices compare?
BenchFleet Pro costs £12 a month + VAT for up to 25 phones, however long they run. Mobilerun's pricing page lists Developer at $20 a month for 5 phones and 600 device minutes, then $0.03 a minute, and $5 a month to connect your own phone.
Can Claude Code or Codex use BenchFleet?
Yes, on Pro and Team. BenchFleet prints the setup line for Claude Code, a block for Codex and a JSON entry for other MCP clients, and each client works only on the phones and with the access you choose.
Where does my data go?
BenchFleet starts in Local mode, where nothing leaves your computer and your network, and it sends no telemetry. Apps, accounts and test data stay on phones you own.
Does BenchFleet have cloud phones?
Yes. You rent an Android phone by the minute from prepaid minutes, with a spending limit, and it joins the same fleet, approvals and audit log as your own phones.
Why BenchFleet

- Control without friction. Scope, access levels and approvals keep the agent useful and contained.
- Predictable cost. A flat plan, £12 a month + VAT for up to 25 phones.
- Cloud phones too, live now. Rented phones join the same fleet, so you do not have to choose between your own phones and the cloud.
