Control several Android phones from a Mac or Linux computer

In short: BenchFleet is a desktop app for macOS on Apple silicon, Linux and Windows that shows every connected Android phone on one screen and controls any of them with your mouse and keyboard, over adb with no app on the phone. Free covers 3 phones. scrcpy, Vysor, TeamViewer and AnyDesk also run on Mac and Linux, compared below.

Many tools for controlling Android phones from a computer were built for Windows first. On a Mac with Apple silicon or a Linux workstation, the choice is smaller, and the tools differ in a way that matters: some talk to the phone over adb, Android's debugging bridge, and need nothing on the phone, while remote-support apps need their own app and a control add-on on every phone. Checked on 23 October 2026 on each app's own site.

Free for up to 3 phones, with no account. Pro adds workflows, schedules and AI for up to 25 phones from £12 a month + VAT.

Two kinds of tool

  • adb tools (BenchFleet, scrcpy) talk to the phone over USB debugging, by cable or Wi-Fi. They need Developer options on the phone but no app, add-on or account, and the same tool works on any maker's phone. They suit phones on your desk or in your lab: test phones, shared phones and device benches.
  • Remote-support apps (TeamViewer, AnyDesk, AirDroid) put their own app on the phone and connect over the internet. They suit helping someone with a phone that is somewhere else, and control depends on the maker's add-on.

BenchFleet on a Mac or Linux computer

BenchFleet is the same app on macOS (Apple silicon), Linux and Windows, and brings its own copy of adb:

  1. Turn on USB debugging in each phone's Developer options and plug it in, or pair it over Wi-Fi with Wireless debugging on Android 11 and newer.
  2. Every phone appears on the Fleet page as a live tile with its screen, battery, temperature and connection.
  3. Click a phone to control it with your mouse, keyboard and clipboard; its files, apps, logcat and a terminal are on the same page.

On Pro, group actions, Broadcast, workflows, schedules and AI agents over MCP work on the same phones. The steps for ten phones are in mirroring and controlling 10 phones from a laptop, and every free option is in free tools to control several phones.

Who it is for

  • Developers on a Mac who test on a few Android phones and want them on one screen instead of a window each.
  • Linux labs and support desks that look after test or shared phones and need their health at a glance.
  • Teams building with AI agents, who let Claude Code or Codex use the same phones with approvals and an audit log: see the Android MCP server.

Questions

Which app controls several Android phones from a Mac with Apple silicon?

BenchFleet runs natively on Macs with Apple silicon and shows every connected phone on one screen, with one click to take control. scrcpy also runs on macOS, with one window per phone, and Vysor, TeamViewer and AnyDesk have Mac apps.

Does BenchFleet work on Linux?

Yes, on 64-bit Linux such as Ubuntu 24.04 or Debian 13 and newer, as a deb package or an AppImage. It finds phones through adb, by USB, Wireless debugging or address.

Do I need to install an app on the phones?

Not for BenchFleet or scrcpy, which use USB debugging. TeamViewer and AnyDesk need their app on the phone and, for control rather than viewing, a control add-on or plugin, often one per phone maker.

Does KDE Connect let me control my phone's screen?

No. KDE Connect shares files, links and notifications and can turn the phone into a touchpad and keyboard for the computer, but it does not show or control the phone's screen.

Is Total Control available for Mac or Linux?

Its download page offers a Windows client only. On a Mac or Linux computer, BenchFleet and scrcpy are the closest options for many phones over USB debugging.
