Cheap Android device farm software: plans under £15 a month
In short: BenchFleet Pro costs £12 a month + VAT for up to 25 of your own Android phones, with live control, recorded workflows, schedules and AI agents, and Free covers 3 phones at no cost. Among clouds, BrowserStack's App Live Freelancer and pay-as-you-go plans such as AWS Device Farm and Genymotion SaaS can also stay small. Prices compared below.
"Device farm" covers two things: software that runs a lab of phones you own, and clouds that rent you time on their phones. On a small budget the cheapest option depends on whether you own the phones and how many hours you use them. List prices checked on 23 October 2026 on each vendor's own page. US dollar prices are shown as listed; convert them at today's rate. We make BenchFleet.

What makes a device farm cheap
- Metered or flat. Clouds charge by the minute, the session or the parallel test. A flat plan on your own phones costs the same however many hours they run.
- Minutes included. A plan's included minutes can run out in a day of testing; check what happens after.
- Phones you already have. Old phones and the models your users have are often enough for daily testing. A cloud adds iOS and models you do not own.
- Your time. Clouds look after the devices. With your own phones you charge them, update them and replace old ones.

Where BenchFleet fits
BenchFleet is a desktop app for Windows, macOS (Apple silicon) and Linux. It is for teams and people who own, or will buy, a few Android phones and want more than a test runner from them:
- Every phone live on one screen, with health, and one click to take control, on every plan.
- Workflows without test code on Pro: record a task once, run it on every phone, on a schedule or from CI.
- AI agents on the same phones: Claude Code, Codex and other MCP clients, with approvals and an audit log.
- A price that does not grow with use: Pro is £12 a month + VAT for up to 25 phones. Cloud phones, rented by the minute, join the same fleet when you need one more.
BrowserStack, AWS Device Farm, Genymotion, Firebase Test Lab, TestMu AI, Sauce Labs, Kobiton, DeviceFarmer and DeviceLab are the names of their owners' products and projects. BenchFleet is not affiliated with any of them.
